1. Raw Water Intake

Sourcing from deep wells, municipal water networks (PDAM), groundwater, and other primary sources. In real-world plant operations, raw water is pumped directly into a dedicated equalization and buffer tank to balance variations in flow and chemical characteristics. During this initial stage, physical macro-strainers are deployed to trap large debris, and pre-chlorination or ozone injection is often utilized to oxidize heavy metals like iron and manganese, forcing them to precipitate before moving into the core filtration system.

2. Quartz Sand Filtration

Effectively filtering out mud, suspended solids, and large physical particles. Utilizing heavy-duty pressure vessel tanks filled with multi-layered silicates, the water is pressurized and forced through graduated sand media, ranging from coarse at the bottom to ultra-fine mesh at the top. Operators continuously monitor the system's differential pressure, executing systematic automatic or manual backwash cycles to flush out trapped sediment blocks and maintain optimal flow dynamics.

3. Active Carbon Filtration

Absorbing unwanted odors, residual chlorine, and harmful organic compounds. This stage relies on premium high-iodine activated carbon media, which plays a critical role in dechlorination and organic binding to refine the water's taste and clarity. Removing all trace chlorine at this juncture is absolutely mandatory in field practices, as any chemical carryover would otherwise oxidize and permanently degrade the expensive downstream reverse osmosis membranes.

4. Precision Filtration

Trapping fine microscopic particles to protect and prolong the lifespan of every system component. Acting as the final guard filter before the main purification unit, this stage employs precision multi-cartridge stainless steel housings equipped with replaceable polypropylene spun filters graded from 5 down to 1 micron. Field operators monitor the pressure drop across these consumables, replacing them regularly to guarantee that absolutely no shattered media particles or escaped carbon fines enter the high-pressure pumps.

5. Reverse Osmosis (RO)

Removing dissolved salts, heavy metals, and nearly all ionic impurities. As the high-pressure multi-stage vertical pumps force the water through tight semipermeable membranes with microscopic pores as small as 0.0001 microns, the stream is split into pure permeate water and concentrated reject waste. Technicians monitor the real-time Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) using online conductivity meters and implement scheduled Clean-in-Place (CIP) chemical washes to eliminate membrane scaling and bio-fouling.

6. UV Sterilization

Utilizing physical ultraviolet sterilization to significantly elevate overall water safety. Positioned as close to the distribution line as possible, this post-treatment chamber subjects the purified water to targeted 254-nanometer ultraviolet radiation to alter the DNA of 99.99% of bacteria, viruses, and coliforms. Precise flow control is enforced throughout this stainless steel reactor to guarantee the required contact time, ensuring absolute biological safety without adding chemical alterations or changing the water's taste profile.

7. Pure Water Ready

Perfectly purified and ready for manufacturing use or immediate, worry-free consumption. The finished product is stored in airtight, food-grade stainless steel or high-density polyethylene (HDPE) storage tanks designed to prevent stagnation and re-contamination. To preserve this high-purity state over time, industrial configurations incorporate continuous recirculation loops through ozone generators and equip tank vents with sub-micron air breather filters to block environmental impurities from entering.
